Announcement live from the London circle: https://x.com/roxananasoi/status/2081805295819370584

Twelve months of the Logos London circle went into understanding the nuances of reconstructing the now declining British civil society. Together with new-found allies in the Anglofuturist movement (which we initially engaged in Nov 2025, following the House of Lords debate on ‘Decentralised vs Centralised Identity’ that surfaced a lot more concerns over public institutions’ (and their representatives’) ability to comprehend highly technical constructs such as zero knowledge proofs, corroboration, and such forth), smaller and larger group meetings, as well as 1:1s honouring people’s request for privacy, we were able to map out a series of themes and directives that require attention from the British public.

Using the methodology behind outcome graphs, decision graphs, and gap mapping in scientific breakthroughs, bundled with the ideology behind Logos, the themes and successful pilots of parallel institution formation outlined in Farewell to Westphalia, the gapmap.uk was born. We launched the GapMap.uk website during the 12th meeting of the London circle, covering 204 ranked gaps, 115 resources for building solutions on decentralised, open source technology, and 11 outcomes we aim to achieve. The gaps are ranked based on urgency, who can resolve them (build without waiting for permission; build together with a willing civil society org / institution; state-led with policy-heavy lobbying options), and a timeline of 6mon-2yrs-7yrs.

We took this opportunity to present our Manifesto (we originally discussed it during the 11th circle in June), which was drafted in collaboration with several members. The plan is to have a Signing Ceremony on Basecamp with those who are more technically-savvy, as a privacy-preserving opportunity to express our intent for the next year of activities. Those who read it for the first time were touched and felt that it reflected their own beliefs.

We gave away copies of Farewell to Westphalia to new circle members. We now have substantial research from publicly available data to start claiming gaps and explore either solving them ourselves (where possible) or finding those who can build / are building solutions. Both ideas were well received:

  1. London circle members to scout more technical partners and small teams to claim and build on identified gaps (over 50 can be built without permissions).
  2. London circle members that are more technical can form small action groups and take it upon themselves to build a pilot in 90 days; and present progress at the next circle.

Some attendees expressed interest in taking the concept into academia, or improving the content which is currently heavily generated by Claude Code.
